Ingredients
5 Pasilla Chillie
5 Mulato Chillie
5 Ancho Chillie
3 Tomatoes
3 Garlic Cloves
5 Cloves
5 Black Pepper Kernels
3 Cinnamon Sticks
2 Packets of Abuelita Mexican Chocolate
2 cups Chicken Broth
3/4 Onion
3 Tortillas
1 Packet of Mexican Pilocillo (you can subsitute with sugar)
50 g Sesame Seeds
50 g Raisins
50 g Almonds
100 g Bread Crumbs
2 Bananas
Salt
Oil (vegetable)
Frying Ingredients
Fry the tortillas, set aside.
Fry the tomatoes, set aside.
Fry the bananas, set aside.
Fry the garlic, onion, cinnamon. Cloves and 3 types of chillies.
Boil ingredients
Boil a big pan of water. Add all the ingredients. Everything that has been fried and everything else including the bread crumbs and tortillas.
Bring the boil and stir until everything is soft.
Blend the ingredients
Pour all the ingredients including the liquid into a blender and blend.
Sieve the ingredients
Place a large pan or metal bowl on the stove over a very low heat and add some oil.
Sieve the ingredients from the blender into the pan/bowl.
Serve
Once sauce has thickened, it is ready to eat. It is usually served over chicken or rice, to make sure you keep the unique flavour of the sauce
